David Nyhus ’20, G, Lakeridge (Ore.) / Laketown

This kid stood tall in a big game against the Dirty Dozen, displaying some huge confidence against a very lethal group of scorers. He displayed good reaction time and reflexes, making his opposing shooters second-guess on low-percentage looks and had a handful of really great saves. He also impressed with his communication, at points personally instructing his defenseman how to cover their man.
