Meet Oregon's high school lacrosse stars

 The Oregonian - May 21, 2017

Maya Lawliss, Oregon Episcopal, sophomore

Maya and older sister Catherine are “a scoring powerhouse for OES,” coach Susan Bankowski said. Maya, who was the goalkeeper for OES’s state-championship soccer team, was a first team all-leaguer last season and has been sensational this year. She is fourth in the state in points per game with 5.6 (Catherine is second with 6.6) and is ninth in the state with 61 goals. She has also totaled 17 assists and 37 groundballs. As a duo, Maya and Catherine are incredibly productive; the sisters have combined for 64 percent of OES’s goals and 58 percent of the assists.
